Smallmouth Bass fishing on the Snake River is another popular spring past time. These scrappy fish have a huge local following and more people are discovering this great species. Large numbers of bass are the usual catch in the beautiful and rugged Hells Canyon area.
The Snake River provides a year-round  fishing opportunity for a wide variety of species from its confluence with the Columbia River in Central Washington to the Oregon border in Hells Canyon.

Sturgeon, Smallmouth Bass, Catfish and Trout fishing begins in early spring and will continue into the fall months.
